Meet Jaimie of Cunningham Strength and Rehab!! She is available for appointments for CFU members!
"I offer physical therapy services to address musculoskeletal injuries, improve performance, and prevent future injuries. Services include manual therapy, dry needling, and corrective exercises for addressing impairments and improving movement patterns.
I started Cunningham Strength and Rehab because I was frustrated by the restrictive insurance regulations and productivity standards that I saw in standard practice clinics. I did not feel like I could perform at my best or give my patients excellent quality of care in these settings. With my own business, I am able to give my clients 100%. I also believe that physical therapy should be about more than just treating injuries; it should also be about optimizing movement and preventing injuries. I use my skills and knowledge to help my clients overcome their injuries, as well as improve their athletic performance and prevent future injuries.
In addition to being a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I have a strong background in strength and conditioning that allows me to go above and beyond the standard treatments found in traditional physical therapy clinics. I have been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2009 and worked as personal trainer prior to becoming a physical therapist. I am also CrossFit Level 1 certified and have my Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification from USA Weightlifting. I have a special interest in the tactical population, and have attended the Tactical Advanced Programming Seminar and completed a fellowship with Mountain Tactical Institute. My fellowship focused on improving heavy rucking and upper body pulling strength in female tactical athletes. I am also trained in trigger point dry needling having completed Dry Needling Courses I and II offered by Double E PT Education."
