As a tri-sport athlete growing up, it was my joy to participate in team sports. That continued into college, where I was part of the Track and Field Team as well as the Volleyball Team. After college, I picked up intramural softball and played for 23 years. I started my yoga practice 24 years ago and

CrossFit about 6 years ago. All the while, I lifted weights when girls lifting weights wasn't cool. I have taken my love for all things fitness and transferred that to a coaching career for the past 5 years. Now, it's about training everyone to lift and lift well and stay flexible and mobile. I am passionate about Olympic lifting and I love to show people they are stronger than they ever thought they could me.

My father suffered for many years with diabetes and all the other health issues that come along with that. He truly felt it was just his lot in life and there wasn't anything he could do about this "inherited" disease. I am bound and determined to prove the prognosticators wrong. My goal in life is to live to be 100, and make 99.99% of those years vital, active, and dedicated to the service of others.

I love coaching any and every one, but I especially love teaching women the power of moving weight.
